Well, the Nest Thermostat received a rating of 95 on their Engadget review! That alone is worth a look.
First impressions: Packaging and materials are top notch and the user interface is amazing. Even it’s iOS app is decent (although it’s Google owned). The only downside is the steep price and it actually needs a power cord even though it’s wireless and has an lithium ion battery?! All in all this is a thermostat in a class of it’s own, although there is some upcoming competition (from our own little country): Anna & Toon.
