Roof Gardens Maasboulevard

360° PHOTOGRAPHY

We were called upon by landscape architect Burobol to create a virtual tour of one of their 3 roof gardens of their “Daktuinen Maasboulevard” project. On a sunny saturday afternoon in July 2013 we found the perfect settings in Venlo, the Netherlands.  A few typical Dutch clouds in the sky and the sun low on the horizon for some excellent light. We shot 5 locations in close proximity. The locations were chosen so the tour offers a complete experience of the whole garden, it’s centerpiece and the magnificent view over the Maasboulevard.

One of the locations even allows you to virtually stand on top of the centerpiece. To make the experience more personal one of the designers and founders of BurobolThor Hendriks can be found sitting on the centerpiece during the tour. We were accompanied by some beautiful peregrine falcons that reside on top of the tower in the tour. We did manage to get them on photo, but not in the tour itself.

The three “roof gardens” were commissioned by ING-Real Estate and Burobol supplied the vision, design and execution supervision. For more information on the project and to view the integrated tour on the Burobol website check the link below.
